My Water Cycle.

My pond in April.

This page is about the circulation of the water around my Pond System.

The water is taken from the pond by two pond pumps with waterfall attachments to my Water Barrel Filter. This filter takes out all of the solids and returns the water to the Greenhouse pond via the wide grey pipe as shown above.

You can see the water outlet from the Filter has become an water inlet to the greenhouse. The water just falls out of the pipe and into the indoor pond. The Fish like this as seen by myself they like to swim against the flow.

It needs tidying up abit but you can just make out the water flowing out of the Greenhouse.

I have removed one of the bricks from the wall and raised the gap slightly. The water overflows out of the Greenhouse pond and down my Stream. The neat thing about this is that any muck and dirt floating on the surface of this pond will flow out of this hole. It`s a bit like a mini wier. The water inside at the moment is crystal clear.

You can just make out the outlet to the Greenhouse. The water flows from this to The Stream. At the moment It is a bit bare at the moment. I need to add Rocks along the side of The Stream and add plants to it as well. The Stream flows out into my Top Pond.

This is the view of the Top Pond. The water flows from The Stream on the right into this pond. This pond also acts as a filter because it is heavily planted and so any leftover debris will get caught up in the plants and absorbed into them as food. The water then flows out and down a very narrow stream and then over a waterfall back into the Main Pond.
